Reviews Overview

Most Liked

The cocktail selection at THE BANK is impressive, featuring innovative creations that are perfect for any palate. Many rave about the atmosphere, which strikes that perfect balance between cozy and vibrant.

The friendly staff consistently go above and beyond, ensuring you feel welcome. Outdoor seating is a highlight, especially during sunny days when the space becomes a delightful sun trap.

Many guests enjoy the Sunday roasts, with some labeling them as the best they've had in ages, making it a popular time for visits. The overall vibe is lively, accommodating groups and even welcoming dogs with treats, which adds to the warm community feel.

Most Disliked

Some visitors note that the outdoor seating area has an uneven surface, which could be a concern for those with mobility issues. Although the decor is generally appreciated, some think there could be a bit more focus on optimizing this space for comfort.

Another point of contention is limited parking, which can be a hassle during peak hours. This is typical for many popular spots in busy town centers, but it's worth considering when planning your outing.

While the menu is robust, a few diners expressed a desire for more vegetarian options to be included, which could broaden the appeal to a wider audience.

Golden Anniversay .Function room was first class with self contained bar. Highly recommended for all functions up to 120. Management friendly and extremely helpful. They were instrumental towards a very successful evening. Nothing was a problem

Great little place, good drinks, even better food. We always get a good welcome here, dogs are very welcome too (the staff always provide treats) We've just tried the food for the first time since they've started serving food and it was incredible! I had the pork belly and my partner had the vegetable tart (which was obviously all cooked from fresh to serve! No frozen food here!) Fantastic. Lovely little sun trap out the back too if you fancy eating outside ☀️

I have been here on a Sunday, first me and my friend came in for a drink and the service was lovely. The outside of the pub has incorporated the old fashion bank style as well as the pub design. Must admit I love the outside and the inside of the building. The only downside would be the outside area (garden) due to uneven surface, but you cannot have it all perfect. Other than that I absolutely loved the style all over the pub. Having a stoma bag it is important that toilet is acceptable to be able to change a stoma bag. I cannot thank enough and probably will be slightly bias to say I loved the toilet. It was more than enough to be able to change the bag without any discomfort. I would highly recommend this place to any disabled person. The toilet was clean, the style was lovely and the space was amazing. You cannot ever please anyone, but surely please my needs at the time. I had another drink (coctail) on a way back home whilst waiting for the bus. Again, amazing, polite service. The drink was lovely too. Cannot recommend enough. I cannot rate the food as I have not been ordering any food yet.

We went for Sunday lunch and it was one of the best roasts I’ve had in a long time. Really good food, staff really friendly and they cater for kids. Lots of toilets now too!! We will definitely be back.
